Propvizer.

We put your assets to work.

We help governments turn property they already own into recurring revenue and community benefit, and we bring the developers who build it.

The problem we solve

We help governments maximize their real estate portfolio.

Local governments own billions of dollars of property they don't fully use, often without knowing what it's worth. We help them turn it into recurring revenue and community benefit, without selling the land or raising taxes. Our clients are governments and public authorities, and our work runs from the first inventory through to the developer who finances and builds.

Two three-story apartment buildings at Waterworks Village stand beside a reservoir at sunset, with the Atlanta skyline in the distance.
We worked on Waterworks Village in Atlanta, which provides 100 units of affordable housing.

What we do

Identify the assets. Put them to work.

We start with everything a government owns, find the sites worth activating, and carry the best ones from an open solicitation through to a finished project, with the land staying public the whole way.

01

Asset Mapping

We inventory everything the government owns, and find out what it's actually worth.

02

Asset Selection

We screen the portfolio for the underused sites worth activating.

03

Asset Repurposing

We take the site to developers and negotiate the ground lease, so a developer finances and builds while the government keeps the land.

We bring in the developers, speak their language, and negotiate a ground lease that pays the government for decades.

Where we work

We help governments all over the country.

Cities and counties across the country are putting their assets to work. Select a marker or a name to locate it on the map.

Who we are

Built by people who've done this in government.

Propvizer was founded by Ben McAdams, a former Salt Lake County Mayor and U.S. Congressman, and Josh Humphries, who led real-estate strategy for the City of Atlanta. We have worked in government, in development, and alongside nonprofits, so we can translate between them.
